Getting closer to the March 15th release date for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, Ubisoft announced today that they are giving all gamers one last chance to test out the game exclusively for 5 more days as a part of a public beta gaming session that will start on March 1st at 1:00 A.M. PST and last all through March 5th until 1:00 A.M. PST.
Some of the details of what is known about what will be available for this open beta session in The Division 2, there will be 3 main story/campaign missions with 2 of those missions that appeared during the private beta earlier in the year along with 1 new exclusive mission not yet revealed to the public. Every gamer will have a chance to explore more into the open world aspects of the game while trying to complete 5 side missions and taking part in control/stronghold activities hand-picked by Ubisoft to exploring a dark zone area outside of the safe zone perimeter in the Washington D.C setting. Also, there will be some multiplayer available where you can get into some 4 vs. 4 PVP that will be like a Team Deathmatch in the game if you get bored playing solo in the game.
Another neat deal if you do participate in the open beta of The Division 2, you’ll get some reward perks from Ubisoft as a way of saying thank you for participating…these rewards include the “DC Patriot weapon skin” to use on your weapons that you would buy in the game, the “Capitol Hill arm patch” for completing the 1 invasion mission (another mission type available in the open beta), the “supply crate backpack trophy” if you complete the dark zone introduction, and the “capitol hill backpack trophy” for just participating in the open beta overall.
